So as some probably noticed we have Incorporated a system for "Coin". As a joke, it is called "Coin" due to I enjoy Skyrim Khajitt jokes... Anyway, this system is VERY interesting and only works if you post on this forum. That being said do not worry- you can earn your other characters in a different way. To earn Coin (
) you post in the world itself or have it gifted to you by a user or our "Soul Scriptor" user.Soul Scriptor is our resident "bot" or shared account by the three creators for the sole purpose of profile posting and NPC/Event posting.
Coin Earning
Coin earning is a strange thing for this place. You can get it from 5 different sources.
NPC - EVENT - Faction Event- Posting - The Nether
Posting for Coin is a set in stone process, in which you get a certain set amount per post type ranging from Thread to reply. Quick Reply gives the least amount of Coin. While this may be so... The Nether Gives out more of a payload.
When you die and go to The Nether you wrack up more coin which CAN be used to buy a certain Item that is a one time use to help win our fabled Challenge.
NPC, Faction Event, & normal Events range so these are not set in stone at all and range in pour pay out like in normal games. Think of it a bonus.
Wages & Interest
What are Wages?
Wages are what makes the world go around. These wages are harder to explain but range in a ranking system from 100 - 500 and stop there. The increments are of one-hundred. Logging in daily guarantees you get money - though I have seen it wrack up when offline as well.
Interest is at a 5% rate to somewhat aid in earning Coin to buy our "overpriced" items.
Item Pricing
As mentioned before, our items are SUPER pricey. It is to make sure you all can work for them or be able to achieve them in our random quests.
You see, OSR prides itself in our uniquely thought out games. Most of the stuff in the shop just HAPPENS to be cosmetic and are prizes (besides the soul containers).
